Water fountains and individual/family restrooms on site; playground built for ages 2–12, a fishing pier, and a connector trail to Four Mile Creek Greenway. Open dawn to dusk.

The take

Come for the water and the playground, stay because it's also the handiest trailhead for the creek greenway next door. Parents and long-walkers end up here for different reasons and both leave satisfied.
