Three retail poles stitched together by Park Road, and no rail comes here — this is a drive-between district with walkable pockets once you park. By bus it's the 19 down the Park Road corridor from uptown, or the 30 crosstown via Woodlawn to the mall, each every 30-40 minutes weekday daytime. The walkable pocket to start with is Park Road Shopping Center, where Park Road Books, Suárez Bakery and Amélie's share one parking lot — Dot Dot Dotis hidden there too, but it's a membership lounge, so join at the door or online before you go. The mall pole is SouthPark Mall with Symphony Parkon its back lawn; the third is the Montford Drive row, where the guide's note on Good Food on Montford names the small-plates dining room that gives the bar strip its white-tablecloth counterweight.
