The Gardens are stroller- and wheelchair-accessible with benches throughout; wheelchairs and strollers are not available for rent.

Child admission $10.95 (ages 2–12), under 2 free. The Lost Hollow children's garden, the 0.4-mile shaded Adventure Trail and the three-story Prairie Castle Playground (first two stories wheelchair accessible) all sit inside Gardens admission.
On the trail
The 8+ miles of hiking trails, Trailhead Store and dog park are free — no Gardens admission needed; property gates close on the Trailhead Store schedule. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails but not inside the Gardens.

Now operating as the Daniel Stowe Conservancy, it pairs formal plantings with an orchid glasshouse and a long run of lakefront in Belmont — a proper half-day trip. Admission is charged and hours move with the seasons, so verify before you drive out.

Do I have to pay to get in?

Only for The Gardens themselves — $18.95 adults, $16.95 over-60s, $10.95 children 2–12, under-2s free. The Trailhead Store, Farmhouse Garden Center, dog park and scenic trails are free.
