Questions people ask

How much does admission cost?

Nothing — admission is free, though donations are welcome.

How long does a visit take?

About 30 to 60 minutes for the exhibits in the 1879 Massey-Clark House.

Where do I park?

Free public parking along N. Trade Street and in nearby municipal lots — mind the posted time limits. Accessible spaces and dedicated museum spaces are behind the building.

Can I bring a group?

Yes, but book it — guided group tours need at least two weeks' notice, arranged on 704-708-4996, and group or bus parking has to be coordinated in advance too.

The school-age tour runs about 45 minutes; the tour for seniors and civic groups about 60.
