The take
The simulators and the banked Glory Road ramp of historic cars justify the ticket even for the racing-agnostic. It stands on land cleared from Brooklyn, the demolished Black neighborhood — worth knowing as you walk in — and the actual racing lives 25 minutes northeast in Concord.
Questions people ask
How much does admission cost?
General admission is $29 for adults, $26 for seniors 65+, $22 for youth 4–12, and free for children under 4, with $2 per ticket off when you buy online.
Combo packages run $36–$49 online.
Is there parking?
Yes — the on-site garage charges $4 for the first 30 minutes and $3 per additional 30, capped at $25 a day, and a nearby lot offers a $12 flat rate. The Hall does not validate parking.
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
No — the Hall states tickets do not need to be bought ahead of your visit.
Are dogs allowed?
Only service animals as defined by the ADA. Pets and emotional-support animals are not admitted.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, with two limits worth knowing: the racing simulators require a 54-inch minimum height, and everyone under 17 needs a chaperone aged 18 or over.
Smaller children may sit on a parent's lap for the simulators.
